Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 12, 2026

SalesMeUp ("we", "us") respects your privacy and processes personal data only when there is a clear legal basis under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Polish Data Protection Act. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what rights you have.

1. Who is the data controller?

The data controller is SalesMeUp, registered in Poland. For any privacy-related question, write to dd@salesmeup.de.

2. What data we collect

We process different categories of personal data depending on how you interact with us.

2.1 Website visitors

When you visit salesmeup.de we may collect: your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring URL and timestamps. For B2B visitors we use intent-data tooling that resolves IP addresses to company-level identification (not to individuals). Legal basis: legitimate interest (article 6.1.f GDPR).

2.2 Contact form / discovery call submissions

When you submit a form on this site we collect: name, work email, company name, message content. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures at your request (article 6.1.b GDPR).

2.3 SOutreach waitlist

When you sign up for the SOutreach beta waitlist we collect: name, work email, company name, optional LinkedIn URL or website, and the explicit consent for receiving product updates. Legal basis: your consent (article 6.1.a GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time.

2.4 Cold outreach recipients

If we contact you with a B2B cold message (email or LinkedIn) we have processed public business contact information accessible under the freedom of economic activity. Legal basis: legitimate interest (article 6.1.f GDPR). You can object to processing at any time by replying STOP, by unsubscribe link, or by writing to dd@salesmeup.de.

3. How we use your data

  • To respond to enquiries and discovery-call requests
  • To deliver the SOutreach waitlist newsletter (consent-based)
  • To run our website, including analytics and intent-tracking at company level
  • To improve our services and the content we publish
  • To meet legal obligations (accounting, dispute response)

4. Sharing with third parties

We share personal data only with vetted processors who help us run the business:

  • Netlify (hosting and form processing)
  • HubSpot (CRM, meeting scheduling)
  • Google (Workspace email)
  • Snitcher / intent-data providers (company-level website identification)

Each processor has a Data Processing Agreement with us and processes data only on our instructions. We do not sell personal data.

5. Data transfers outside the EU/EEA

Some processors are based in the United States. Transfers happen under EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where applicable.

6. How long we keep data

  • Contact form submissions: up to 24 months from the last interaction
  • SOutreach waitlist: until you withdraw consent or we close the beta
  • Cold outreach records: until you object or 12 months from the last contact, whichever is earlier
  • Accounting records: as required by Polish tax law (5 years)

7. Your rights under GDPR

You have the right to:

  • Access your data
  • Rectify inaccurate data
  • Erase your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Restrict or object to processing
  • Data portability
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • Lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority (UODO, uodo.gov.pl)

To exercise any right, email dd@salesmeup.de. We respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies (Google Tag Manager + Google Analytics 4) to operate the site and, with your permission, to understand how it is used. When you arrive, a banner asks for your choice across three categories:

  • Strictly necessary — required for the site to load, the cookie banner to remember your choice, and basic security. Always on. Cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics (off by default) — Google Analytics 4 with anonymized IP. Helps us see which pages get read so we can improve them. No personal identifiers are stored without your consent.
  • Marketing (off by default) — used to measure ad campaigns and remarket on LinkedIn or Meta. Activated only after explicit consent.

We use Google Consent Mode v2, meaning before you choose, no analytics or marketing cookies are stored — only anonymous, aggregated pings that contain no personal identifiers. You can change your choice any time by clearing site data in your browser, or by emailing us at dd@salesmeup.de to revoke consent.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practice evolves. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the latest change. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
